Whatever happened to decent customers with acceptable behavior? Everyone understands that people have their bad days or perhaps they're in a hurry and need something quickly. Still, no single person's busy schedule should allow for unacceptable comments and nasty rhetoric.

OP's mother created hand-made gymnastics suits for a living, and one day, a Karen started to complain that her order had taken an hour to be processed. The truth is, of course, that only ten minutes elapsed and this woman had absolutely no concept of time. The tension only worsened when the Karen received her gymnastics suits and then tried to steal it before paying. Thankfully, OP stepped in and did right by his mother. Sure, there may be ridiculous Karens out there with no sense of kindness, but at least this teenaged boy defended his mother in the end.
